Very Helpful App

I discovered this app by reading the Daily Herald. It provides very helpful information about different foods, and it raises my awareness of what I am actually putting into my body. The food database is large, but many of the store brands I consume are missing. Additionally, my experience of this app would be improved if Fooducate could interact with Fitbit and MyFitnessPal apps.

Love this app!

I have lost 10pds already using this app! It makes it so easy to punch in what you eat & then breaks it down into nutrional pie charts for each day and week! It also loads my miband fitness info too. It did that without even setting it up! I would give it 5 stars but there are lots of duplicate entries of foods... That needs to be watched if the list gets out of control. Love the barcode scanner.. Used it to make grocery buying choices in the store. I also make lists from these entries as well. Love looking at the alternative healthier choices too! Sams club sells some really poor food choices

Wonderful app

I love the ease of food tracking with this app! Scanning is super easy and really fun too. I like learning about the food ratings and it helps me to understand how to make better food choices.

Premium is a ripoff!

Inaccurate and time consuming. The free version of My Fitness Pal is a thousand times better. This is cumbersome, doesnt sync with Fitbit other than via another app, requires you to upgrade to premium to get basic nutritional info, and doesnt provide weekly or monthly info. Useless!

Excellent app

They provide a pretty updated list of products and its nutritional values very useful. I highly recommend the app use especially when shopping.

Best app of its kind - visuals, info, positive msgs, customer support

I had Fooducate when I was just getting into the whole food tracking thing and loved it right away. So much so that every other one I tried fell short. And still does. Like any app, you have to log your food. But you can scan it, create recipes, and it’s there. It’s NOT a big deal. If you are invested enough in what goes into your body, this is part of it. I was fascinated by what I didn’t even realize — especially how many carbs I was mindlessly getting. What I LOVE about this app is the easy graphics but also the unmatched scope of its info, and its whole attitude. Instead of feeling like I was depriving myself of something, it gave me GOALS. Getting enough protein has always been a struggle for me so this made it a goal. How close did I get to achieving that goal as the day went on? Well if I was only halfway there, I guess dinner had to be some salmon or chicken instead of corn flakes! EASY. It’s also one of the few apps that factors in things that are important - dietary plans chemicals and processed foods, gluten, vegetarian, allergies, etc. I know My Fitness Pal is getting a ton of play right now thanks to Under Armour’s financial backing but I’ve used both and went running back to Fooducate. I have been hassling their customer service for a week now because I had paid for an unlimited subscription that I thought I didn’t get back, but it was right there. I would like them to make the upgraded version a different logo so you could tell the difference. I find this to be the most user friendly, make you make good choices, not punish you when you don’t, adapt to your personal preferences, food tracker out there. It incorporates the exercise calories burned as reported by my fitness tracker too. FOR SURE GET FOODUCATE.

Fooducate

This app is awesome! I have lost almost 16 pounds since July using this app and weighing and measuring my food. I even told my granddaughter about it and she is now using it to lose weight for her upcoming wedding! I highly recommend this app.

Love!!!

I love this app! I depend on this app while grocery shopping and it has allowed me to make better food choices. The only complain is, sometimes they dont have products listed.. Like when Im Shopping at Wegmans. Other than that, I really like this app and youll be surprised that things arent as "healthy" as they advertise to be.

Love it!!

This is a great app. Easy to use and very motivating!!

Great app to track food intake

It is great and there are additional pay option for more in depth features. But the free portion is great and is simple to use and keep track of daily in take. Library of items you can track is fast and vast. Im liking it so far.

Yes!

Very useful for anyone looking to get healthy. Gives letter grades and healthier alternatives to foods. Totally rocks.

Excellent way to learn good nutrition

This app is the best and easiest I have ever found to help me on a path to better health and weight loss. It is very easy to use, has excellent scanning ability to learn what foods to buy before purchasing and gives suggestions for better alternatives. It gives you a very comprehensive look at everything you consume and links with other exercise apps to incorporate that information onto you calorie count. I love this app and highly recommend to everyone who wants to improve their health. Support is easily obtained and quick to respond to emails

Excellent nutrition app

Love this app. Makes diet/nutrition management seamless and easy. Tried several others, but Fooducate wins hands down.
