It doesnt recognize any barcodes in Canada ...:(

So excited to have the app in canada its a awesome app I will use this a lot at home and at the store and work !!
I like how way it is to add profucts. I also like the grading system on products. So many quality attributes to the premium app.
Great app for tracking food intake and how to make better choices. It may actually be better than the Weight Watchers App! Definitely cheaper!
I scanned about ten name brand things at Safeway and NONE came up!!! What is the point if literally nothing I scan comes up? It gave me the option to take three photos to help them add the item to their database which the first tole I obliged but after ten "thats not here, help us out!" I was over it. I downloaded this app to help me, and it doesnt help. Super bummed. I was excited about the concept.
The concept for this is great, too bad its empty! I scanned a ton of things and only one was in their system. It asks you to fill in all the info and add a picture, basically its making you do all the work. They shouldnt have launched this without filling it with products first. Ive deleted the app and I wont recommend this to anyone.
Why is it mandatory to create an account or sign in with Facebook...
Lots of fun and interesting info. Keep it coming. Ive learned a lot.
It greatly helps to know if the product you are choosing to consume is what you expected to be!! Even though the scan option is not recognizing your product (perhaps the product codes are different among each country) you can manually input each product name and it will appear all the varieties found in the database. Fooducate is certainly studied to detect if a product is healthy enough and will score it proportional to its pros and cons
Id give this a 4 or maybe even 5 if it didnt crash every time i add my own food. Its also annoying that pretty much nothing I eat is in their database when I scan bar codes.
The scanner does not work in Canada. Just to be clear it doesnt work. With todays phones there is no point in buying an app if the scanner doesnt work. Apple I would suggest removing this from your site as it is no good.
Great app! Lots of good nutrition information! Easy to use!
I walked through Costco and scanned 30+ items and it didnt pick up one of them. It kept asking me to provide pictures and info on the items. Might be worthwhile after the consumers create the database for foods in order to determine nutrition.
Useless in Canada. Cannot even sign up since it wont accept a 6 digit postal code.
Waste of time!
I think with more people entering data this app will get better and better with time.
1 month 21 lbs lighter and still going! Thanks, scan bar code is Not great.... But All thé rest is very usefull!
Useful, neat and organized
This app is a fantastic idea. I downloaded it primarily because I wanted to see letter grades for foods in my supermarket. However, the database for Canadian UCP codes seems to be empty. You cant use the app AT ALL without either creating an account or logging in with Facebook or Google. I hate that. Sigh. Deleting.
This is very interesting. It is great for encouragement & sharing ideas on what works & what does not work. Im really enjoying this app.
